Hi there! Welcome to A Scoop of Sparkles! My name is Danielle Snyder and I’m so glad you stopped by! You may have already guessed it, I love ice cream and anything that sparkles! I am a wife, a mom to a sweet princess and a Norwex Independent Sales Consultant. My little family and I recently moved from Wisconsin to Omaha, Nebraska. We love it here so far! I am originally from a SMALL town in Northern Illinois. I mean small, I think the population is around 500 now! However, if you want to be technical, I grew up in the country on a dairy farm on the outskirts of the small town. My best friends as a child included my mom, sister and all the baby animals.
My love for ice cream began when I was a child. My mom has photos of me when I was about three years old with chocolate ice cream all over my face. The love has continued through adulthood! So much so, we skipped the cake at our wedding and our guests enjoyed an ice cream sundae bar!! Everyone still talks about that sundae bar! Yum!
The sparkle obsession really began when I was in college. That seemed to be the time in fashion when all things sparkly were very popular! If it sparkles I gotta have it!
I married my Yooper husband in September of 2014 and we were blessed with our daughter, Kinsley, in January of 2016. I always wanted to be mom and was so happy I reached that milestone before I turned 30! Hey, we all gotta have some kind of life goals, right?
